• Making feathers fly at Badminton

    While excitement builds for the Davis Cup quarterfinal tie, another racquet game has taken to the courts with elite players delivering Come & Try sessions.

    The NT Badminton Association (NTBA) has invited the community to their courts at Winnellie this week for the sessions which are part of a wider campaign funded by the NT Government, aimed at providing coaching clinics to support advanced & junior players to develop in the sport.

  • Eels match date in the Top End confirmed

    It’s official - the Dyldam Parramatta Eels will be back playing on home Territory on Saturday 8 August, and tickets go on sale tomorrow (Monday 6 July).

    The date of the game has been confirmed by the NRL, meaning rugby league fans can now mark it in their diary and snap up their tickets for the clash at TIO Stadium between the Eels and Penrith Panthers.

  • Demons v Eagles – it is ON!!!

    The thrill of AFL Premiership action returns to the Top End this weekend when the Melbourne Demons take on the West Coast Eagles at TIO Stadium on Saturday night.

    A large crowd of Territorians and visitors is expected to flock to the match in Darwin, which is part of the Northern Territory Government’s agreement with the AFL that two of the Demons’ Premiership matches will be held in the Territory in the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
