
To support the development of sport and recreation in the Territory, the Northern Territory Government offers financial assistance to sport, recreation and local government organisations to assist the delivery of services and programs within the community.
Funding is available to peak sport and recreation bodies and organisations throughout the Territory through several different grant programs including:
Grass Roots Development Grants - Allows organisations (including clubs, groups, service deliverers, shire and municipal councils) to apply for up to $3 000 to implement a new sport or recreation program or increase the capacity of their organisation to deliver sport or recreation services/programs.
